Approve everyday white separately from event colour

A hotel entrance is seen against its wall finish in white most evenings; saturated animation is only the event scene. A colour render alone can lead to a version that animates well but misses the ordinary brand-white appearance. RGB-mixed white is not automatically the specified RGBW white channel.

Show three scenes on the actual facade material: sustained white, saturated colour and transition from white to colour. Judge white beside signage and neighbouring fittings from the walkway and across the street; judge colour continuity and brand hue. If one fixed hue is all the project needs, a single-colour option may be simpler than mapped pixels.

Put the chosen 3000K, 4000K or 6000K into the sample label

The page lists those three white CCTs as RGBW options. Warm, neutral and cool white change the reading of the same surface. They are not three confirmed settings in one tunable neon, nor proof that every CCT pairs with every density, voltage and protocol.

Label the sample with white CCT, colour architecture, 13mm section, density and control. Compare it with real brand material. If white-colour fidelity is critical, request test data for that ordered white variant; the page's compressed lumen row or another manufacturer's RGBW measurements do not prove it.

No W/m means no invented facade feed length

The page offers DC5V, DC12V and DC24V but does not pair an ordered version with W/m in the reviewed evidence. Without paired voltage and power, neither branch current nor supply count nor permissible one-end length can be calculated. At equal power higher voltage generally means lower theoretical current, yet cable resistance and loaded end voltage still decide the installation.

After the sample is fixed, calculate lamp watts from its W/m and actual length, then theoretical branch current from its chosen voltage. Measure the last point under both white and demanding colour scenes. Three facade zones still need routes and connector loads designed independently; they do not become one approved chain merely by adding lengths.

RGBW does not choose the data protocol

UCS1903, WS2811 and DMX512 are alternatives on the product page. UCS/WS cascade planning follows grouping, data direction and controller ports; an actual DMX512 version follows channel mode, addresses and zones. A white channel alone tells neither pixels per metre nor DMX slots.

During the white-to-colour scene, record first and last segment colour, effect direction and the sample controller. Put the delivered IC, colour order, connector pinout and pixel grouping in the order. The page does not establish a cut point, so a control segment cannot be treated as a cut unit.

The 13mm silicone body is not a bend or IP promise

The 13mm section helps check a mounting channel, but the reviewed record supplies no minimum bend radius or IP grade for this build. A bent photograph does not validate every corner, and silicone alone does not waterproof the installed system.

Include the actual tightest corner, clip, cable exit and field joint in the sample. On a rain-exposed or washable elevation, gather protection evidence for the body, joins, entries and supply housing. If an exposed unprotected joint is unavoidable, this unverified version is not ready for that position. For example, an assumed 16mm clear groove leaves 16−13=3mm nominal width; that does not prove connector, clip or corner fit.

It is a weak fit when only fixed white is required, or when a wet location, tight corner or long feed must be guaranteed without version-specific IP, bend and W/m data. Approve the white CCT, controller and mounted sample together before quantity production.
