Mechanism

Equal control values do not guarantee equal chromaticity. Freeze fixture, firmware, temperature and geometry.

Calculation

Δu′v′=sqrt[(Δu′)²+(Δv′)²]. Example differences 0.0015 and −0.0020 give 0.0025; this is not a universal pass threshold.

Workflow

1. Define target and metric.
2. Use calibrated instrumentation.
3. Measure repeatability.
4. Apply bounded corrections and archive results.

Do not approve

• Phone images are the only evidence.
• No geometry, uncertainty or stabilization.
• Software hides hardware defects.
