Cause technique

DMX physical lines use daisy-chain routing. Passive Y/star branches are replaced by active splitter outputs, each treated as a new line with far-end termination [S1].

Cas de 72 luminaires

Scenario: 72 fixtures across four facade wings become four isolated branches of 18 daisy-chained fixtures. Exact cable length, unit load, RDM and grounding remain project approval items.

Tests et limites

  • Terminate the physical far end, not every fixture.
  • Keep stubs short [S2–S3].
  • Test one branch at a time.
