Calculation
P=I²R. Illustrative: 12 A at 5 mΩ gives 0.72 W; at 20 mΩ it gives 2.88 W. These are not product results.
Validation
- Freeze all part numbers and wire.
- Control crimp and mating.
- Measure current, millivolt drop and temperature rise.
- Retest after environmental conditioning.

- Generic current rating only.
- Unspecified hand crimping.
- Corroded contacts are reused.
