AC220V or DC24V Wall Washer? Turn a Mixed Product Page into a Purchasable Facade Specification
Spot the impossible combined order
Do not order a 'DC24V RGBW DMX 96W/m IP67' washer by combining words from this page. Model L-W-10048-220V-45W-4000K points to AC220V, 45W and 4000K, while the family page also lists DC24V and 24/48/96W per metre. Each orderable version needs voltage, colour, control, length, power, optic and protection bound to the same specification row.
Read the published entries line by line
| Parameter | Published or derived value |
|---|---|
| Model text | L-W-10048-220V-45W-4000K |
| Voltage field | High voltage AC220V; title also says DC24V |
| Family power | 24W/m, 48W/m, 96W/m; another field says 24W/m |
| Optics and density | 48 LEDs/m; 60-degree viewing angle; ~20.83mm average LED pitch |
| Control entries | UCS1903 in specs; DMX in title |
| Not established | Version-specific IP, DMX interface and compatible combinations |

Separate static white from dynamic RGBW
The model suffix 4000K and white/warm/cold white entries point toward a white-light option, while the headline covers RGB and RGBW. The headline does not establish that the 45W model contains four-channel RGBW emitters.
Put uniform white, dynamic RGB or RGBW with dedicated white on separate project rows. Obtain the exact order code, wiring diagram and sample for the chosen row; colour choice changes the electrical and control schedule.
Bind the fixture length and optic to the sample
The page publishes 48 LEDs/m and a 60-degree viewing angle. At even spacing, 1000mm / 48 = about 20.83mm between physical LEDs. That number is not the projected beam spacing on the wall and cannot guarantee an even facade.
Mock up the actual surface, mounting setback and adjacent-fixture gap. Review brightness from base to top and visible joins, then put the approved fixture length, lens, bracket and colour into the same purchase line.
Treat the W/m entries as alternative loads
For separate 24W/m, 48W/m and 96W/m options, a hypothetical 10m run has 240W, 480W or 960W of luminaire load before driver loss and margin. They are alternative specification cases, not switchable modes on one fixture.
The named model contains 45W, which cannot simply be multiplied by a W/m entry. Obtain its actual length and rated input first; then design cable, protection and branches for the selected AC220V or DC24V construction. Power sections are not control zones.
Resolve the UCS1903 and DMX wording
The specification lists UCS1903, a cascaded-pixel IC, while the title advertises DMX. The title alone does not make this configuration a native DMX512 endpoint. Address method, pixel grouping and gateway architecture are not published here.
For a DMX or Art-Net console, request the selected version's wiring and compatible controller or gateway plan. Play the required white, RGBW or segment scenes on a sample; do not issue a channel patch until the actual mapping is proven.
Do not invent an exterior rating
Although the page targets outdoor buildings, it does not establish an IP grade for the specific model or detail the connector, end-cap and driver protection. A 60-degree optic is not a weatherproofing certificate.
Inspect cable entries, joints, drainage and service access in a trial bay. Include the fixture and full connection-system protection documents in the submittal; until then, do not specify this version for permanently exposed mounting.
Build one row per orderable version
| Project condition | Decision and evidence |
|---|---|
| Fixed 4000K white | Check the model suffix, actual sample and 45W input; do not assume RGBW. |
| Dynamic RGBW required | Ask for its own order code and sample; the family title is insufficient. |
| Indoor wall mock-up | Test uniformity with the 60-degree optic and real spacing. |
| Permanent weather exposure | Demand IP and connector evidence for the exact version. |
| 10m facade line | Compare 240/480/960W options separately before circuit sizing. |
| DMX or Art-Net integration | Determine whether native DMX or a UCS1903 gateway is actually supplied. |
Use LIKELIGHT as a version-screening starting point
This page offers 48 LEDs/m, a 60-degree optic, an AC220V entry, alternative W/m loads and a UCS1903 clue. Those facts can start a facade mock-up and a version comparison. If model L-W-10048-220V-45W-4000K is selected, its own signed sample governs.
The page does not prove that AC220V, DC24V, RGBW, DMX and any IP grade coexist in one fixture. It cannot replace a version-specific purchase specification; send the confirmed matrix with measured mock-up results.

Send a versioned RFQ
- Facade elevation, surface and mounting height
- White, RGB or RGBW scenes and target CCT
- Fixture length, setback and spacing
- Selected voltage and rated power per fixture
- Console, interface and address requirements
- Exposure, connectors and protection documents
- Mock-up photos, illuminance and join records
These inputs turn a family page into one testable, quotable and inspectable version instead of asking the supplier to guess a combination.
Facade procurement FAQ
Does the DMX headline make UCS1903 a DMX fixture?
No. UCS1903 is a pixel IC; verify the ordered interface or gateway.
Can the 45W model be priced as 48W/m?
No. Obtain that model's length and rated input before calculating.
Does 'outdoor' establish IP67?
No. This evidence does not establish the model or connection-system rating.
