An IP code applies to a tested enclosure configuration [S1]. The installed system adds ends, cable exits, joints, bends, boxes and drainage that need separate control.

  • Freeze the exact waterproof version [S2].
  • Keep joints away from bends and standing water.
  • Provide strain relief and drainage.
  • Investigate failure locations before replacing sections.

Aceptación del sistema

Temperature cycling can stress seals and contribute to pressure-driven ingress or condensation in enclosures [S4–S5]. Exact bend radius, joint process and IP68 conditions remain project approval items.
