Color temperature and color application
The color temperature of the light source: People use the absolute temperature of the complete radiator equal to or similar to the color temperature of the light source to describe the color table of the light source (the color seen when the human eye directly observes the light source), also known as the color temperature of the light source. The color temperature is expressed as the absolute temperature K. Different color temperatures can cause people to react differently emotionally
We generally divide the color temperature of the light source into three categories:
A. Warm light: the color temperature of warm light is below 3300K, and the color of warm light is close to the incandescent light, and the red light has more components, giving people a warm, healthy and comfortable feeling, which is suitable for families, residences, dormitories, hospitals, hotels and other places, or where the temperature is relatively low.
B. Warm white light: also known as the middle color, its color temperature is between 3300K-5300K. Warm white light soft, people have a pleasant, comfortable, peaceful feeling, suitable for shops, hospitals, offices, restaurants, restaurants, waiting rooms and other places.
C. cool light: also known as daylight color, its color temperature is above 5300K, the light source is close to natural light, has a bright feeling, and makes people concentrate, suitable for offices, conference rooms, classrooms, drawing rooms, design rooms, library reading rooms, exhibition Windows and other places.
Color rendering: The degree of color rendering of the light source to the object is called color rendering, that is, the degree of fidelity of the color, the color rendering of the light source with high color rendering is better, and the color we see is closer to the natural color, and the color rendering of the light source with low color rendering is worse, and the color deviation we see is also larger.
Why is there a distinction between high and low color rendering? The key is the spectral characteristics of the light, the wavelength of visible light in the range of 380mm to 780mm, that is, we see in the spectrum of red, orange, yellow, green, green, blue, purple light range, if the light emitted by the light source contained in the proportion of each color of light and natural light similar, then our eyes see the color is more realistic.
Color rendering index is generally used to characterize color rendering. Standard color Under the radiation of a standard light source, the color rendering index is 100. When the color code is illuminated by the test light source, the degree of visual distortion of the color is the color rendering index of this light source. The larger the color rendering index, the less distortion, on the contrary, the larger the distortion, the smaller the color rendering index. Different places have different requirements for the color rendering index of the light source. In the International Lighting Association, the color rendering index is generally divided into five categories:
Category Ra Application Scope
1A > 90 Art galleries, museums, printing and other industries and places
2B 80-90 Families, restaurants, advanced textile processes and similar industries
2 60-80 Office, school, outdoor street lighting
3 40-60 Heavy industrial plants, outdoor street lighting
4 20-40 Outdoor road lighting and some places with low requirements
