Product description:
GS8208 is a 3-channel LED constant current driver chip with breakpoint continuation and internal control pattern. GS8208 includes 3 pole open constant current output terminal, built-in gray level pulse modulation, input power supply 9V-15V, can withstand 12V port voltage. Chip built-in 12bits of GAMMA correction module, PWM refresh frequency up to 8k 7z, and provide the output channel current dislocation processing can reduce electromagnetic interference and power clutter. GS8208 adopts extended return-to-zero code as signal transmission mode, which can control the output current by channel and be cascaded indefinitely. The chip provides dual data input as redundant control to ensure signal transmission in case of single chip failure. When there is no signal input, the GS8208 will display the built-in program, suitable for applications without a controller. The chip has built-in power-on protection and power-off protection functions to enhance the service life of the chip, and has automatic power-on test function to facilitate customers' mass production test. The GS8208 offers a SOP8 package with an operating environment ranging from -40°C to +85°C.

Chip characteristics:
1. Built-in chip 7805, working voltage 12V;
2. The default output is 15mA, the minimum output current is 11mA;
3. Using return to zero code, serial data frequency 800kHz;
4. Data transmission is 8bits, and the internal GAMMA of the chip is corrected to 12bits;
5. Built-in PWM pulse regulation technology, gray scale clock supports 8kHz picture refresh rate;
6. With breakpoint continuation function, single point chip damage or capacitor short circuit does not affect data transmission;
7. The production state channel detection mode detects the abnormal state of the channel such as short circuit, open circuit, virtual welding, and wrong connection;
8. Working state channel detection mode, convenient engineering wiring and display application;
