(1) Small size

(2) Good environmental performance

Since the LED light source does not need to add metal mercury in the production process, the LED waste will not cause mercury pollution, and its waste can be almost all recycled, not only saving resources, but also protecting the environment.

(3) Security and stability

The LED light source can be driven by low-voltage direct current, and the general power supply voltage is between 6 and 24V, so the safety performance is better, especially for public places. In addition, under better conditions of the external environment, the LED light source has less light decay and longer life than the traditional light source, and even if it is switched frequently, it does not affect its service life.

(4) Good seismic and impact resistance

The basic structure of the LED light source is a piece of electroluminescent semiconductor material, placed on a lead shelf, and then sealed around with epoxy resin, there is no glass shell in the structure, and there is no need to pump vacuum or inject specific gases in the lamp tube like incandescent or fluorescent lamps. Therefore, the seismic and impact resistance of the LED light source is good, which brings convenience to its production, transportation and use.

Compared with the traditional light source, the light emitted by the LED light source is oriented, and most of the light emitted from the LED can be directly directed to the illuminated surface, and the utilization rate is much higher than that of the traditional light source.

The response time of incandescent lamps is millisecond, and the response time of LED light sources is nanosecond. Therefore, it is widely used in the field of traffic signals and car signals.

(7) High luminous efficiency

With the development of LED lighting technology, the luminous efficiency of LED light source has been increased from the original less than 10lm/W to more than 100lm/W, and its luminous efficiency still has great potential to improve.

(8) Rich light color

LED light source by changing the current, chemical modification, monochromatic light mixing and other methods, can achieve the light and discoloration of various colors in the visible light band, even for white LED can also be made into a variety of color temperature light source. Therefore, it has obvious advantages in interior decoration lighting and landscape lighting.

(9) No flicker, no ultraviolet light

The LED light source uses DC power supply, the light is stable and does not flicker, and the spectrum is mainly concentrated in the visible light region, basically no ultraviolet or infrared radiation interference, so as to avoid the adverse effects of stroboscopic effect and improve human eye comfort.

(10) Good brightness adjustability

According to the luminous principle of the LED light source, the luminous brightness or output luminous flux of the LED basically changes with the current. The working current can be large or small in the rated range, and has good adjustability, which lays the foundation for the LED light source to achieve on-demand lighting and stepless brightness control.
